The Wooze Copeland Gallery 16 Jul 2019

Tonight we arrive at the Copeland Gallery in Peckham.  The place is packed to the rafters, with young artists from Central St Martins and Camberwell College of Arts.

Endless Digital Birthdays are hosting a multimedia art show and live music launch, in support of The Julius Little Foundation. Korean / British duo of Theo Spark and Jamie She of Wooze band are the supporting act.  As mentioned in our previous review they formed in 2017 and have quickly gathered quite a following.  The two previously played in an indie pop band called Screaming Peaches. Wooze is a rough phonetic translation from Korean word (우주) which means space.

They perform their songs “Ladies who lunch with me”, “Cousin Paul from Paddington”, “Party without ya”, “Zeus Masseuse”, “I’ll have what she’s having”, and “Hello can you go” to an overflowing room.

Wooze are performers with raw talent dripping from the tips of their fingers.  The sounds they produce manage to be catchy and easy as well as deep and cool. In other words, you’ll have a great time whether you’re a rock chick or someone who likes easy listening.

They will be playing London Fields on August 3rd.  Don’t miss out.
